    “…자신이 성장한 가정에서 탈출한 사람들은 대개 누군가의 부동산에서 다른 이의 부동산으로 옮겨 거주하는 삶을 살게 된다. 그런 사람들에게 있어서 움직이지 않는 재산이라 할 수 있는 것이 있다면 고작 가족이나 고향같은 안온한 기억들일진대, 작가들은 어쩌면 그 조차 깨어지고 삭감되는 동산일 수도 있다는 문제를 제기한다.

    고향과 가족은 이제는 불신하게 된 가치들, 더 이상 적용될 수 없는 규약들로 지탱되고 있다. 그곳에서 탈출한 자들은 다시 돌아가게 되는 것을 두려워하면서도 그리워하며 지나간 기억을 수도 없이 복제한다. 분절된 기억을 가지고 복제하기. 아주 작은 것으로 전체를 상상하기. 그런 시도들이 당착하는 오류는 <원래 집>을 괴기한 곳으로 만든다는 점이다. 그곳에 있던 것들은 여기에도 응당 모두 있어야 하지만 그곳에 있던 어떤 문제들, 어떤 상황들은 사실 어디에도 있어서는 안 되는 것이었다는 인지 부조화가 생긴다. 두 작가는 그래서 자신들의 부동산에 대해 이야기하는 20대 초중반 여성들의 일기를 수집했고, 오디오와 그림, 영상을 통해 그 양가적인 감정을 표현한다.”

    “…People who have escaped from their own family usually move from one person's property to another's. If there is anything that can be said to be an immovable property for such people, it may be that their warm memories of family or hometown. But that can also be broken and damaged, that’s what Song Heamin and Huh Hyunjung focused on in their work ‹Budongsan›.

    Hometown and family are now supported by distrusted values, rules that no longer apply. Those who have escaped from there are afraid of going back but still miss there and duplicate countless memories at the same time. Replicate with fragmented memory, imagine the whole thing with very little pieces. The error that such attempts face is that it makes the original home a strange place. The two artists focused on  ambivalent feelings and the gap between what was actually there and what is remembered. They collected the diaries of women in their early to mid-20s talking about their home and family, and expressed the ambivalent feelings that our generation share through multimedia installation work, including recorded voices, objects with graphic images, and video.“
